Classic Aioli

A rich, creamy sauce that can be used as a dip or spread with bread, veggies, or any other snacks.

Equipment

  • immersion blender

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar

Instructions

  • In this order, crack egg into a container and then place immersion blender in egg.
  • Turn on immersion blender and slowly drizzle oil into mixture, allowing egg and oil to emulsify.
  • After aioli has come together, mix in salt, vinegar, and sugar.
  • Add in extra herbs, spices, and any other additions as desired!
